Every so often a new live recording from theHEAD’s shows is added. Recently
we added “Onimba”, a demo of the latest tracks which we’re doctoring at
CASADELOX Studios.
On
Thursday night the 16th of September, theHEAD are returning to the
live scene after quite a break, with Rudi having been galavanting around the
country on the Regurgitator & SPOD "Bong in Your Eye" Tour, and
Schmidt drinking with the stars and getting the Soweto Choir to sing Happy
Birthday to him (while drinking) in Edinburgh (http://www.edfringe.com). We're
joined by Big Jim, who've been
plastered all over the airwaves recently, and also by Fibonacci from
Melbourne, a electro-improv bunch who we’re very excited to finally get to
see play. it's
at SPECTRUM, 34 Oxford St, and the
charge is $8. Spectrum nights seem to start at 8pm, but don't take my word
for it, camp out from the morning.
